Dark Princess: A Transitional Fall Outfit

This just in: we have a mega combination of trend's that move seamlessly throughout the seasons. Here we combined a hot beauty trend, which is a bold lip stick and minimal eye makeup with a bold fashion statement: off the shoulder.

Off shoulder tops and dresses have made major come backs since April, 2016. We have seen it up and down runways, in blogs and street style. As the owner of several tops with this style, I find that some of them are not really practical. Personally, I don't love to readjust myself every few moments, and some of the off-shoulder tops I own slip up to my shoulders constantly. The everscollective Flora Dress (which is only $45!) gives the wearer a functional version of this style.

The top drapes over the shoulders, but is held in place by spaghetti straps!

Another bonus to this style is the color- who doesn't love a deep burgundy?! This dress is just perfect for the Fall season.

Some other aspects to this dress are the ruffled details on the sleeves and the double layers (which can be seen on the bottom). I kept the outfit simple, by just pairing the dress with chunky heeled sandals. However, the Flora dress can look great with mid-calf to thigh-hight boots, it's your call!

Because of the dress' detail alone, I would also keep jewelry to a minimum. It will look great with some drop earrings, a small stack of bracelets or rings.
