For those of you who know me well- I love a good gin cocktail. For all you kindred spirits out there, here's one of my favorite twists on this classic recipe.
Cucumber-Rosemary Gin & Tonic
Start with these:
3 sprigs of rosemary
2 ounces of your favorite gin
4 ounces of tonic water
Then do this:
Peel half of the cucumber, then slice it. While you're at it slice the lime into wedges too. In a glass, combine three peeled slices of cucumber, 1 sprig of rosemary, juice from one of the lime wedges and 1 ounce of gin. Muddle these with the back of a spoon.
Strain the mush (use a mesh strainer) into another glass. Add some ice and another three slices of unpeeled cucumber, then top this bad boy off with the remaining gin and tonic. Voila!
